On June 13, 2025, Israel conducted a surprise attack against Iran, with airstrikes and terrorist operatives on the ground. The first targets were the families residence of high ranking military officials and top nuclear scientists. On June 22, the US bombed nuclear facilities in Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz. The Iranian peaceful nuclear program was a pretext and the actual goal was for the sake of Israel, a regime change in Iran. But after 12 days of Iranian retaliation with swarms of missiles, the assailants begged for a ceasefire
Second try in January 2026: the US had engineered a dollar shortage in Iran, where the currency fell and inflation exploded. That triggered social demonstrations, first peaceful. Mossad and CIA had also spread weapons and the protests turned into deadly riots. But the Iranian society held on and the West lost its last operatives in the country.
Third try: while Epstein case is exhaling the putrid stench of a decaying West, the US and Israel conduct joint surprise airstrikes against Iran on Saturday, February 28, 2026, when stock markets are closed
The targets are military, nuclear and once more, the homes of leaders, whom the assailants want to assassinate. I answer the questions of a Russian journalist.
Since France announced today that it had authorized the US to use its military bases in the Middle East, they have become, in my opinion, legitimate targets. They are also legitimate from the perspective of Iran, which has already struck military installations in non-belligerent countries, when the facilities were involved in the Western aggression since February 28.
I don’t see so far a world war; the only belligerents are Iran and its Western aggressors: Israel, the US and to lesser extent, their European and Arab lackeys.
The regime-change-through-decapitation operation was already a failure just hours after it began. According to an Israeli journalistic source, Donald Trump even tried, via Italian diplomats, to secure a ceasefire as early as March 1, before the stock market opened the following day.
The struggle has become a war of attrition. The limited size of Israel and the fragility of its infrastructure, the depletion of Western high-end air defense munitions, the blockade of Hormuz strait, constraints on exports from oil monarchies and their worldwide economic consequences… the balance is tipping in favor of Iran.
The only risk of escalation and expansion of the conflict is lying in what Israel and the US might attempt to save face.
At 9:15 pm, Tehran time, the Iranian headquarters state that USS Abraham Lincoln was 340 km from the coasts of Iran, when naval drones attacked. The carrier fled to a distance of 1000 km.
