Im Osten, nichts neues

confrontation between reality and Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s alternative world

Glory to the liberators of Ukraine
Death to the German invaders

October 28 is an anniversary. In 1944, after the liberation the day before of Uzhgorod, Carpathian Ruthenia, the Red Army completed victory in modern Ukraine, against the European Nazi armies. In southwestern modern Ukraine, Uzhgorod is itself a subject, a nationalist issue. Hungarian for centuries, the town was allocated to Czechoslovakia in 1919, when to the north, another part of the former Austro-Hungarian empire, Lemberg, Galicia, became Lwow, in Poland. Since the Soviet victory, these regions are in western Ukraine.

European Nazi armies ? They were, mainly German, commanded from Berlin, they had come from whole Europe, in order to fight Bolshevism. Or were they fighting Russia, like Napoleon in 1812 ?

The Soviet armies were mainly Russian and in the context of the special military operation for liberation of Donbass, demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, Russian official channels are celebrating the victory of October 1944. In Ukraine, the issue is complicated.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a former professional actor, likely an opportunist and a NATO puppet, maybe a crook. He is never telling reality, his fiction is driving his public to an alternative world. On October 28, 2022, he writes on Telegram

evil always begins in the same way. The invaders call themselves liberators. The invasion of one’s army is called self-defense. As 80 years ago, the Ukrainian people stand up for the defense of their native land. And the enemy’s blitzkrieg plan becomes a failure

What the hell is he talking about ? The Ukrainian people stood up for the defense of their native land ? Indeed, 2,021 Ukrainians were honored as Heroes of Soviet Union. But 2022 minus 80 equals 1942, not 1944. And on October 14, not 28, the Ukrainian State celebrates the Ukraine Defenders Day, an euphemism for the anniversary of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), which was founded in 1942

National paranoid schizophrenia ? The UPA was formed on October 14, 1942, in Nazi occupied Ukraine, when the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) finally understood that the German authorities would not grant them an independent fascist State, ally of Germany. In order to fulfill their own will and to please Adolf Hitler, the nationalists had slaughtered 4,000 Jewish civilians in Lemberg and vicinity, in July 1941, but these massacres were not enough to earn independence

Since the 1930s, the OUN had always been an auxiliary organization of the German intelligence against Poland and Soviet Union. Did the UPA confront the Nazis from October 1942 ? NEVER. The nationalists committed an ethnic cleansing. Between 1942 and 1945, they slaughtered at least 50,000, maybe 100,000 Polish civilians. There were anti-Nazi partisans in nowadays Ukraine, they were Poles or Soviet fighters. When the Red Army gained ground in Ukraine, the nationalists started conducting guerilla against it. On February 28, 1944, in the vicinity of Ostroh, Rivne region, Polish territory before 1939, they ambushed and fatally injured Nikolai Vatutin, Soviet leader of the 1st Ukrainian Front, whose armies were defeating the German 1. Panzerarmee

In Kiev, a street was paying tribute to a famous character of WW2. Rodion Malinovsky (1898-1967) was Ukrainian, born in Odessa, Soviet commander in 1942 of the second Guards army, one architect of the victory against the Nazis at Stalingrad. On October 26, 2022, the city council has renamed the street Heroes of the Azov Regiment, the Nazi formation within the Ukrainian national guard which has been defeated in Mariupol in May

Heroes of the Azov Regiment

Since the rightist coup in February 2014, at Maidan square, the Nazis are controlling the security and defense apparatus in Ukraine, State security agency (SBU), army, a nebula of paramilitary forces, police. They have disappeared from the democratic mechanisms, do not need them, are running the politic over Donbass, behind the legal government, which is playing on ambiguities, in order to survive. Jewish president Zelenskyy is not necessarily Nazi, has been elected on May 20, 2019, on the promise of peace in Donbass, but quickly, the leaders of the Nazi organizations have taught him what should be his policy if he loved life, according to former and famous US intelligence officer Scott Ritter. De facto, he did not disarm the Nazi militias like Azov regiment, did not implement Minsk agreements. He is indeed enjoying life and according to the rumor, has earned several hundred million dollars in three years.

Zelenskyy’s show goes on. He displays in a video the wreck of a shot down Geran-2. These drones are wreaking havoc in Ukraine, destroying the energy infrastructure

But once more, something does not add up there. He is 1 meter 70 cm, while a Geran-2 drone is 3.5 m long. Actually, these videos are recorded in a studio, before a green background, as it has been revealed in June 2022, sorry, France 24. Illusion

However, many real men and women are fighting. A serious Russian mathematical analysis has assessed from various Ukrainian sources the Ukrainian military casualties by October 27, about

  • 100,000 KIA service members,
  • 23,000 still detained prisoners of war (POW)

I guess that the badly injured ones are twice more than the fatalities, for a grand total of about 325,000 definitive losses. 360,000 fighters would still be in the ranks. The war is a carnage for the Ukrainian forces. Former serviceman, 40-year-old British mercenary Shareef Amin is back from Ukraine, but a few parts of his body have remained behind

Zelenskyy has created on February 27 the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine, in order to enable the enlistment of foreign mercenaries. Some French have gone there. Several, not all, are known Nazi militants. That is why that legion reminds me the Légion des volontaires français contre le bolchévisme, which was formed in 1941 to fight Soviet Union, became later the 33. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS, Charlemagne, was wiped out in 1945

Born in Colombia, communist militant in Spain, international volunteer against fascism, Alexis Castillo falls on October 28, within the ranks of Donetsk People’s Militia

He has joined in 2014 the terrorists. That was how the new authorities were calling the pro-Yanukovych and pro-Russia citizens in Donbass, eastern Ukraine, who were rising against Russophobia, after pro-Europe ones and Nazis had rebelled late 2013 in Kiev, had carried a rightist coup against the legal government. Eight years of fighting, deliberate shelling of Russian-speaking civilians, no peace despite Minsk agreements, until the special military operation, that Russia has started on February 24, 2022.
