In the evening of October 4, 2022, photos and videos appear on social networks, about strange light pillars, several in Belgorod (1st and 2nd pictures), through various angles, at least one in Moscow (3rd picture), about 600 km to the north. Others are reported later in Omsk, about 2,250 km east of Moscow, then Murmansk (bottom), 1,500 km north of Moscow

None picture is officially confirmed, neither found through reverse search on the web. In the context of the Russian special military operation for liberation of Donbass, denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine, two main hypothesis are discussed, natural light pillars and mobile laser weapon Peresvet, that the Russian defense ministry has displayed for the first time on March 1, 2018
Peresvet is an air defense device, which may shoot down drones or blind enemy satellites. Five systems were operational in May 2022, according to the authorities. The alleged picture from Murmansk would show more laser weapons than the whole supposed fleet, looks like the panorama of natural halos. Light pillars are the result of interaction between light and ice crystals in the air

The issue is about probability. Light pillars are rare optical phenomenons, under precise atmospheric circumstances, rather in winter, rather in the north. If most of the pictures are authentic, I doubt that these halos may occur at the same time in October, in various places from Belgorod to Omsk, but not in Berlin nor Oslo. One natural event in one place may have been used as a cover for military operations elsewhere, not necessarily Peresvet. Or all could be artificial.
Last hypothesis but not the least, Allah has said (Surah al Mulk, verse 5)
indeed, we have adorned the nearest sky with lamps and set them up for throwing at the devils. We have prepared for them torment in the flame
The spy satellites
Deliveries of NATO weapons to Ukraine, Ukrainian offensives and terrorism, partial mobilization in Russia, Western sabotage of Nord Stream pipelines, return of Donbass and southern Ukraine to Russia, continuous hysteria of most Western media, the situation is tense around Ukraine, between the West, on one side, Russia and a growing part of the wide world, on the other one.
On September 21, defense minister Sergei Shoigu has stressed that Russia was facing in Ukraine more than 70 military and 200 civilian satellites, which are carrying out military intelligence. Via NATO, Ukraine is aware of the Russian forces and their geographic distribution, a significant asset on the battlefield.
Moreover, a major strategic task of the spy satellites is to monitor outside Ukraine the state of the enemy nuclear forces.
The nuclear threat
Before the beginning early September of the Ukrainian offensives, the threat of a catastrophe at Zaporojie nuclear power plant (ZNPP), in Russian-controlled Energodar, was the main leverage of the Western asymmetric strategy.
On the other side, Russia is now regarding Donbass and southern Ukraine as its own territories, will do everything [it] can to ensure the safety of [its] people [Vladimir putin on September 30], is the first nuclear power, with 5,977 warheads in January

Western commentators are discussing the probability of Russian tactical nuclear strikes against Ukrainian armed forces and since a week, a main issue is to find the location of K-329 Belgorod submarine, which is based in Severodvinsk, near Murmansk. Its strikes would be strategic, with Poseidon nuclear torpedoes, which are supposed to trigger offshore a huge radioactive Tsunami

In the morning of October 4, State news agency RIA Novosti has reported that the Main Center for Space Intelligence was
monitoring the composition and condition of the orbital groups of foreign space systems [satellites], as well as conducting experiments in orbits with spacecraft of foreign States
