On February 14, 2026, French fascist militant Quentin Deranque dies in hospital from a cerebral hemorrhage, following an injury sustained on 12, during a brawl that his group triggered by attacking a conference given by MEP Rima Hassan, famous for her support to Palestine, at the Institute of Political Studies in Lyon.

From Ukraine, on social media, a French fighter in the 3rd assault brigade, emanation of Nazi Azov organization in the Ukrainian regular army, pays tribute to his former comrade. Before his military trip to Ukraine, in September 2022, Gwendal Delange was a famous Nazi figure in Lyon, within groups where Deranque was campaigning too.

A legal proceeding is opened about the death ; it is concerning individuals. As a former police detective in homicide cases, I would have endorsed manslaughter. But in France, the prosecutor is the stooge of the executive power. He is suing the suspects for murder.

Beside, in a strictly political inquisition, which is manipulating the facts and misinforming, government officials including justice minister, French mainstream media, center and right wing politicians, from fascists to liberals, are united in order to incriminate LFI, Hassan’s left wing party.

On February 17, in parliament, their representatives will even observe one minute’s silence in memory of the fascist assailant. Their actuality continues to fuel nasty prejudices about the pinzuti [French, in Corsican]: fearful, petty, coward, incompetent and arrogant.
