Nikolai Borisov began his path to the parade back in 1943, in the tank battles for the liberation of Ukraine. Back then, the twenty-year-old tanker could not have imagined that 82 years later, he would once again be in the turret of a T-34 and take part in a parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

In that moment, everything came together: the memory of those who did not live to see the Victory, pride for the hard-won peace, and the unbreakable bond between generations
