Matthew Livelsberger was master sergeant within the US Special Operations Forces, officially based in Germany, on vacation at the time of the explosion

On January 1, 2025, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded in front of Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada. Seven passersby were injured, the driver did not survive.
The vehicle was loaded with various explosive ordinances, connected to a detonation system that the driver was supposed to control.
The Cybertruck was rented in Denver, Colorado, on December 28. The hirer said he was intending to drive to the Grand Canyon, but actually set the navigation system for Las Vegas. The rental was for three days and in the early morning of January 1, the driver sent a text message to the owner, requested to extend it for two more days. He turned off the live camera feed at some point the night before the explosion

37-year-old Matthew Livelsberger was the holder of various documents which are found in the vehicle

According to the investigators, he died of an intraoral gunshot wound before the explosion. How was it later triggered ? His corps is burnt beyond recognition. DNA confirmation is expected.
To say the least, the case seems complicated and the apparent modus operandi of the alleged terrorist makes no sense

Livelsberger was an active master sergeant within the US Special Operations Forces (USSOF), with experiences in intelligence and as technician for the military–industrial complex (MIC). He has been deployed in Afghanistan, Congo, Georgia, Tajikistan and Ukraine. Currently based in Stuttgart, Germany, he was on vacation.
Donald Trump was the target of two assassination attempts since July 13, 2024, in Pennsylvania. In Florida on September 15, the shooter, Ryan Routh, was an ardent supporter of Ukraine.
