Scotland Yard counter terrorism command (SO15) is embezzling schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act 2000 or other legal pretexts, in order to crack down on political opposition to any interest of UK government or its allies.
On April 17, 2023, French publisher Ernest Moret was arrested that way in London, due to his involvement in demonstrations in France against a pension reform. On May 17, at Luton airport, SO15 seized all electronic devices of Grayzone journalist Kit Klarenberg, due to supposed links to Russia about Ukraine.
That is not counter-terrorism but pure political police, with dishonest means of coercion. So sad that the same sleuths did not manage to prevent the attack on June 3, 2017, between London Bridge and Borough Market
