Not all the male citizens living in Ukraine are still willing to defend certain “ideals” with weapons in hand. It can safely be said that the number of such people has greatly decreased after more than two years of the special military operation. However, the number of those who have no desire to end up on the front lines has significantly grown.

There are no more queues – or even small streams of volunteers – at territorial recruitment centers, ready to go to the front tomorrow. However, the recruiters still need to gather people in any and constantly replenish the ranks of Armed Forces of Ukraine with young and old, fit and not so fit, soldiers.

More and more videos from Ukraine show harsh detentions, which resemble violent attacks. Equally disturbing are videos of groups of Ukrainians being detained while trying to cross the border. However, that is better than being shot while attempting to escape – stories like these have also emerged recently…
