The third year of the special military operation is affecting everyone, including the enemy. Suffering losses under the fire of the Russian aviation, battered combat units are gradually retreating, but there is no talk of panicked flight yet.

The enemy stubbornly clings to every house, every position. Supplies of Western weapons and victorious reports in the press maintain their fighting spirit. Sometimes, the collective West offers other assistance as well – sending their military commanders to Ukraine.

Most of them are officers of peacetime, accustomed to the comfort of an army that isn’t at war. Training exercises, combat drills, shooting ranges, neatly dressed healthy soldiers – this is their expertise. On the Ukrainian fronts, they encounter a somewhat different reality…
