In everyone’s life, there is a choice: between right and wrong, between difficult and easy, between black and white. We all make such choices every day, often without realizing it. In war, this is greatly intensified: every choice you make can cost the lives of your comrades in arms.

The majority of the Russian Armed Forces personnel protect their close people and even sacrifice their lives to save their fellow soldiers. Very rarely are there completely opposite cases, when a person is willing to betray both country and friends for money. For example, the traitor pilot Maxim Kuzminov switched sides and hijacked a Mi-8 helicopter in the summer of 2023.

This cost of lives of the navigator and the onboard technician. Kuzminov, however, showed no remorse for his actions, only cowardly hiding for a while. But the money he received was burning a hole in his pocket, and he set off for adventures… But not quite the ones he expected.
