Daily pictures : partial mobilization in Russia

Victory in Lisichansk, Lugansk People’s Republic, on July 2, 2022 (RIA Novosti), a member of the 6th republican Cossacks regiment raises the replica of the victory flag in Berlin, 77 years earlier

In the evening of September 20, 2022, Vladimir Putin has recorded an address to the Russian peoples, which is broadcasted in the next morning. Russia is mobilizing 300,000 reservists, who are reinforcing the special military operation for liberation of Donbass, denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine.

No conscript will be involved, the workforce of the operation will be globally multiplied by three, close to the volume of the Ukrainian cannon fodder. The announcement follows the calls for referendums in Donbass and southern Ukraine, in order to join Russia. After the popular vote, likely before the end of September, Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporojie regions should become parts of the Russian Federation

(Kremlin)

Defense minister Sergei Shoigu and other officials add that the deployment will be notably strengthened in deep on Russian territory, along Ukraine border, I guess near Kharkov, where the Ukrainian forces have carried out a Pyrrhic offensive two weeks ago. Since February 24, Ukraine has lost about 61,000 service members killed in action (KIA), 5,937 Russians have fallen (including the casualties within Donetsk and Lugansk people’s militias ?)

I agree with the analysis of Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of Russia Today. The Russian victory should be quick and the ball is now in the Western court. The final result should be that victory or a global nuclear holocaust.

The day before, French leader Emmanuel Macron was pathetic at the United Nations. He tried to turn up the volume of the usual rhetoric, but even in New York, two thirds of the hall were empty. Macron was for years the supposed guarantor of Minsk agreements, if he had been a man

vacuité

I agree with Shoigu, Russia is rather at war now with NATO. The cannon fodder is Ukrainian but the Ukrainian economy has ceased to exist and the Western tax payers are even providing salaries of the civil servants.

Real justice would be the death on the battlefield of young men from the countries which are protracting this war for their specific strategic purpose. The West shall finally pay the price of its crimes for at least 40 years. I remind my French readers that Paris attacks on November 13, 2015, were nothing but the anecdotal collateral damage of the Western support to Jihadists in Syria. And the casualties volume was mainly the result of incompetence within security services.
